Genie Moneyy is an app-based hybrid neo-banking platform and marketplace for financial products from multiple Indian financial institutions — accounts, deposits, loans, cards, investments and insurance, brought together in one place so comparing is easy and choosing is genuinely yours.
Most people only ever see what their nearest branch happens to offer. Genie Moneyy brings products from multiple institutions into one app so you can compare and choose — accounts, deposits, loans, cards, investments and insurance, all under one roof, each one still issued and governed by the institution that actually offers it.
Open and compare accounts and deposits from multiple banks, instead of settling for the one your branch offers.
Beginner-friendly investment and demat options, explained in plain language — no jargon, no pressure.
Shop owners, agents and consultants earn a commission referring customers to products people already trust.
Amiit Roy Chowdhury has spent more than thirty years in Indian banking, including senior roles at HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. He has sat on the side of the desk that designs financial products, and on the side that watches them travel. It was the travelling part that kept bothering him. Good products were being built. They were reaching a fraction of the people they were built for.
Not because those people didn't want them. Because a branch can only stand where a branch pays for itself, and most of India lives further out than that. One counter. One shelf. One offer. Take it or leave it.
People in this country are not short of ambition. They are short of options. That is a distribution problem, and distribution problems have solutions.

Genie Moneyy is his answer to it. A brand of Techno Tara Pvt. Ltd., built as a marketplace rather than another bank's app, and carried the last mile by the merchants, agents and advisors a town already trusts. Over 75 institutions and organisations have made their products available on the platform.
Outside it, he backs early-stage founders as an angel investor and mentors people building in BFSI. He speaks at industry forums including the Banking Transformation Summit, the Financial Market Conclave and the ETCIO CDO Conclave. He also founded BankShaala, a BFSI education and certification platform under BFSIJob Education LLP, to train the people this industry will need next. He works out of Thane, Mumbai.
Every category — accounts, loans, cards, deposits, investments, insurance — lists options from multiple institutions side by side, so you're comparing the real market, not one counter's suggestion.
In towns where a branch can't justify itself, the shopkeeper, the LIC agent, the consultant people already trust becomes the way Genie Moneyy reaches them.
Verify once inside the app, then browse and apply across categories — no repeating paperwork for every product you consider.
Tier 2 towns and beyond are Genie Moneyy's centre of gravity — the places where one branch's shelf still quietly decides what people get offered. Wherever a local merchant, an LIC agent or a trusted advisor already has the relationship, Genie Moneyy adds the marketplace behind it, in language people actually speak.
